Without a Face

Posted: July 24, 2013 in poetry

Once he had a face,

thought he lived by grace,

t’was two in one,

now that is gone

and in it’s place

is the man without a face.

Living in the past,

how long will it last,

having nothing to say,

there is no ray

of light

in sight.

Or could it be,

that there will be

a time again,

a new day when

the pain declines,

there will be signs

or a trace

of a new face?
